Life has a way of changing like the seasons. Transformation comes as we allow ourselves to be reborn through them,  leaning into the One who made us, into the One who continues to make us new. It is often a stretching or a shedding of what is no longer needed, of what no longer brings life, in order to receive the more that God has for us. Sometimes this means letting go of external masks, or the false self, so that we can give ourselves permission to live authentically out of who we are, out of who God made us to be. Grateful for this process in my family’s life. Grateful for this process in b’s life, who models integrity, courage, beauty, and inner strength.
