Credentials

I have been in the ministry for 30+ years and have worked in a variety of ministry settings. I have worked with refugees who have been tortured, have served as a chaplain in both a hospital and a long-term care setting, and have served as a pastor of three congregations. I received training in both spiritual direction and supervision for spiritual directors from the C. John Weborg Center for Spiritual Direction at North Park Theological Seminary. I have been involved in training spiritual directors for 8 years. I have also been trained in the Enneagram. I received a Masters of Divinity from North Park Theological Seminary and I am an ordained minister in the Progressive Christian Alliance.
 I am the Founder and Executive Director of Journey Center of Chicago, Adjunct Faculty at North Park Theological Seminary, and the Transformational Listening Center. I have my own spiritual direction and supervision practice, as well as leading contemplative retreats and workshops. This Fall we are starting a spiritual direction training program at Journey Center of Chicago.
Each part of the journey has been such a privilege. It has been an honor to walk alongside others on this journey. To do so is to be on holy ground.
